Di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari pasti kita akan menemukan suatu kondisi dimana kita menyukai sesuatu ataupun tidak menyukainya.

Dalam bahasa Indonesia, kita dapat menggunakan kalimat ‘saya suka..’ atau ‘saya gila terhadap...’ untuk menyatakan rasa suka kita. Dan kalimat ‘saya benci..’ untuk kebalikannya, rasa tidak suka terhadap sesuatu hal.

Dalam bahasa Inggris, ekspresi tersebut dikenal dengan expression of like and dislike, yaitu ungkapan untuk menyatakan kesukaan dan ketidaksukaan terhadap sesuatu atau seseorang.
